Accounting firms offer different accounting services to their customers. These include: monthly accounting, payments of contributions withheld from employees and independent contractors, preparing all kinds of worksheets and financial statements, among others.

All these accounting services comply with any requirement of law with different government agencies as they are: the Department of Treasury, IRS, municipalities, CRIM, Department of Labor and State Insurance Fund. Each task has its specific date of expiry, which does not have to be on time, apply interest, fines and penalties.

One of the responsibilities of the accounting firms is to make sure of all these tasks in time to avoid that apply to your customers interests, fines and penalties

In Velez Medina & Co. we have developed a system of monthly reminders of each of the tasks of our customers to make sure that all are performed on time and avoid this type of situations. At the beginning of all the months we communicate with our clients to request the information needed to perform accounting services for which we were hired or to remind them of the expiration dates that are coming.

If your accountant does not offer this security and peace of mind through this type of system, we urge you to communicate with us for a quote without the commitment of our accounting services.
